In the Villa Clara Province, the La Caridad Theatre, almost since its foundation, is the center of this activity in the entire region. The Guiñol Theatre for children is one of the oldest theatres of Villa Clara and Cuba and, just like the Rabindranath Tagore Group, has decades of experience making people laugh, cry and dream. The Escambray Theatre Group, school of some of the most important theatre and cinema actors of Cuba, was founded in this province to take theatre to the most difficult areas of the territory.
