Nature Photography Contest

The Gaviota Tourism Group, year after year, invites to participate in the Nature Photography Contest, which takes place in the Topes de Collantes Protected Natural Landscape, in the heart of the Guamuhaya mountain range and 20 kilometers from the city of Trinidad. Topes de Collantes covers an uneven surface of more than twenty thousand hectares of the provinces of Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and Sancti Spíritus, with elevations ranging between 250 and 900 meters above sea level. This protected area stands out for the richness and exclusivity of its biodiversity, it has an attractive landscape made up of exuberant forests, multiple rivers and streams with capricious waterfalls and natural pools of crystalline waters, capable of pleasing the most demanding ecotourist. The images are taken on trails, chosen by lot among the participants: La Batata, Caburní, Vegas Grandes, Camino de la Barbera, Guanayara, Nengoa Grotto, Grau, Guaurabo River, Mi Retiro, El Hanabanilla and Salto del Rocío.
