Cuba explores the market in a new form of city tourism

The Cuban government will develop a new form of accommodation with the objective of diversifying and improving tourist service and offers. This new form is intended to students and group of friends interested in touring and knowing cities’ urban centers and cultural heritage. In order to achieve this objective was inaugurated the Vedado Azul Hostle after the closure of the International Tourism Fair in Cuba, FITCuba2019.

The hostle is located in a buiding from the 30’s of the last century on 2nd street between 23rd and 25th avenue. The building used to be home of a family and since the 70’s served as lodging for visitors in the city. Vedado Azul Hostle has 20-air-conditioned rooms with 27 comfortable bunks and 9 beds for an average of 63 capacities. Raciel Troval Rodríguez, president of Islazul Hotel Group, informed ACN that is a responsibility of the staff to talk to visitors about the historic, cultural and patrimonial assets our city possesses, and also recommend places to visit, excursions, artistic performances, recreational and sport events so as they know the features of this wonderful city.
