The Jardines del Rey destination closes the year with the resuscitation of its hotel activities, tempered by the new normality imposed by the global pandemic of COVID-19.
After a fruitful recess, used in the maintenance and repair of all the facilities to declare them ready according to the protocols of a more hygienic and safe tourism, Coco and Guillermo keys, north of Ciego de Ávila, will again receive Russian and Canadian vacationers mainly.
The accreditation process included the training of one hundred percent of the workers, the evaluation through examinations and the supervision by health authorities to certify that the protocols are applied and valid.
All the entities have the conditions to ensure physical distancing, hand disinfection and means to inform and guide the visitor on the behavior to follow, while the employees know how to act in a case with respiratory symptoms.
Although the clients do not leave the keys for the moment, there they have extra-hotel options such as nautical excursions, katamaran rides, bird watching, trekking and visits to Pilar Beach and Loma del Puerto, the latter area of great natural value, as well as car rental within the destination.
From the first week of November, Pegas Touristik, Coral Travel and Anex Tours, three of the main Russian tour operators for Cuba, resumed their post-COVID tourism operations with the Nordwind, Royal Flights and Aigle Azur airlines- respectively- to Jardines del Rey, as a reaffirmation of the preference of that market for one of the most beautiful beach poles on the Caribbean island.
With more than 9,000 rooms available in 22 hotels, Jardines del Rey continues the execution of its investment process, which is currently focused on the development of Cayo Paredón, where three hotel facilities are being built, scheduled for exploitation as of next year. (Magaly Zamora Morejón, ACN)
