Turquía y Cuba conversan sobre viajes y turismo

Turkey's Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, talked with Cuban Ambassador Luis Alberto Amorós Núñez during an international event organized by the ministry in the province of Antalya, the main tourist center of this Eurasian country.

According to the Cubaminrex website, the diplomat explained to the Turkish leader Cuba's potential for bilateral cooperation in tourism, also giving him a list of business opportunities in this sector. Amorós proposed to resume joint actions in the field of tourism planned for 2020 and that could not move forward as a result of the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19.

The ambassador also expressed his wishes for the success of the actions developed by Turkey to stimulate safe tourism in the current complex conditions, and commented that Cuba has also placed emphasis on guaranteeing adequate sanitary conditions and protection for its visitors.

For his part, Minister Ersoy thanked for the information received and the expressions of confidence on the effectiveness of Turkey's measures in the development of safe travel.
