The Dance in Cuba
In the environment of music and Cuban dance, the traditional musical genres are the Cuban son, the guaguancó, the chachachá, the mambo, the guaracha and el danzón. Nowadays, much of these rhythms are still being danced. Among the most danced ones are the conga and the casino wheel, as well as la timba. Internationally recognized are some Dance groups of Cuba known as the Spanish Ballet of Cuba, the Camagüey Ballet, the Ballet Lizt Alfonso, the National Folkloric Ensemble and Contemporary Dance of Cuba.
