Trinidad, the Museum City of the Caribbean, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in America.
After a long and cold winter, the days are finally getting longer and spring is just about on the horizon.
Trinidad reminds us ancient times, like some kind of nostalgic evocation of the colonial epoch.
Tradition and history are combined in the city of Trinidad, located in the province of Sancti Spíritus, in the south coast of the Cuban central region, at 370 km. of Havana.
Trinidad was founded in 1514 by Spanish conqueror Diego Velázquez. It´s still a typical colonial city, with its noble palaces, centenarian towers, paving stones streets, forged ornament iron works, native roof titles, precious woods windows, parks and squares, that have endured the passing of time.
