The climate of Villa Clara is generally the same in almost all the territory, tropical savanna climate. It is hot every month, both in the dry and wet seasons. The average annual temperature moves between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius with some colder figures in the mountainous areas, although there are places like Placetas, nationally recognized as a zone of cold temperatures in the plains of the country, especially in the winter season that begins from mid-November to February.
