It receives regularly flights from America and Europe, and any region of the country. Canada and Italy are the main international tourist markets.
During the winter season it receive up to 8 international flights, 5 from Canada and 3 from Italy. The domestic flights depend on the air capacity of Cubana and Gaviota airlines. Two daily flights one from Havana and the other from Varadero.
Every week there are tours to other important tourist Cuban destinations such as Trinidad, Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth), Pinar del Río, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba.
By Sea
Although most tourists arrive by air, the Island can also be reached by sea. The Marlin Marina Cayo Largo offers immigration, customs services and life on board, as well as docking and boat custody.

The Isle of Youth can also be accessed by both ways. The national airport “Rafael Cabrera Mustelier”, located in Nueva Gerona, receives daily flights of small and medium size aircraft from the capital of the country. By sea, ferries and hydrofoils that leave from Nueva Gerona and Batabanó, south of Havana.
