Emblematic Cuban dance group, which has cultivated Cuban folklore for more than fifty years. Founded at the beginning of 1962, it was proposed from the beginning to contribute to the rescue and rehabilitation of the Cuban musical and dance roots, being able to select those manifestations of true artistic value, to organize them according to the most modern theatrical requirements, but without betraying its folk essence. Today, after several years of its foundation, it has developed a style of Folkloric Theatrical Art, with great scenic and aesthetic effectiveness.

With excellence, precision and expertise in their presentations that have won the preference of the public of Cuba and the world. First Cuban dance group that has managed to perform in the popular Latin Grammy ceremony, and in 2008 it won the DORA International Award in Toronto, Canada, for the Best Choreography of a Musical in the year, for the show Vida. In 2016 he was recognized with the International Spotlight Award for Arts and Humanities, awarded each year by the White House.
Cuban dance group, trainer and follower of the values of Spanish Dance. Creator of the First Academy of Spanish Dance in Cuba. Directed at the moment by the Teacher Eduardo Veitía, it feeds on young values graduated from its Artistic Unit Teaching. With a vast repertoire that ranges from the classic to the most genuine flamenco and fusion, this company consists mostly of young people up to its XXVII Anniversary bringing to all the tradition of Hispanic roots.
Danza Teatro Retazos
Retazos was founded in Havana in January 1987 under the direction of the teacher and choreographer Isabel Bustos Romoleroux. its work in the street and promotion of dance, distinguishes from the rest of the Cuban collectives. Community work in Old Havana, where Las Carolinas already has its own theater, sponsored by the Office of the Historian of Havana, also allows Retazos to stay alive.
Contemporary Dance of Cuba.
It is a Cuban contemporary dance company that has its headquarters in the National Theater of Cuba. Founded on September 25, 1959 its repertoire has a universal and peculiar language, of integration between modern theater and dance, without forgetting the Cuban cultural ancestors.
