The high scientific, technological and cultural development that our country has achieved has led to the holding of increasingly prestigious congresses, events, festivals and fairs with a greater number of participants worldwide.
Havana has a series of exhibition halls, rooms and spaces of optimum quality for the celebration of these events, among which stand out the Palace of Conventions of Cuba, the pavilion of exhibitions PABEXPO, and our emblematic Hotel Nacional, seat of the festival International of New Latin American Cinema. These events span such broad areas as the medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cultural manifestations such as film, literature or crafts. Each event is held in venues with maximum comfort and technical equipment, extensive coverage by the media and organized by highly trained staff, attracting internationally renowned companies and figures every year.
Ernest Hemingway International Fishing Tournament
The Ernest Hemingway International Tournament is the most important fishing event in Cuba and one of the oldest in the world. It was founded by the International Nautical Club of Havana on May 26, 1950. Its objective is to maintain a recreational space that takes into account the skills of its participants, paying special attention to the conservation of marine species. Registration is now open for marlin fishing enthusiasts. The 73rd edition of the event will take place from June 9 to 14 at the Marina Hemingway in Havana.

The International Tourism Fair is the most significant professional event held annually in the Cuban tourism industry.
