Cuba thrusts the development of multi-destination tourism at Expocaribe Fair

The International Fair Expocaribe 2019, that will be held from June 19th to 22nd in Santiagio de Cuba, seeks to thrust the development of multi-destination tourism as main economic activity, asserted Ileana Núñez, deputy minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX, by its Spanish acronyms). Núñez stated in a press conference that the event will be aimed to foster the presence of countries from the Caribbean on the investments that are being carried out in the country.

On the other hand, in the fair frame will be held the 12th Business Forum of the Greater Caribbean sponsored by the Association of Caribbean States (AEC) space where will be discussed topics concerning trade, tourism, cooperation, transportation and investment. At the same time, wil be held other events such as the Forum of Organizations that Promote Trade in the Greater Caribbean, the 20th Session of the Cuba-Mexico Business Committee, as well as a meeting of the Administrating Commission of Trade Agreement between Cuba and Guatemala. Expocaribe is considered the second most significative commercial portfolio in Cuba, it constitutes a suitable event to strengthen ties with the Greater Caribbean.
