Visual arts in Cienfuegos

The visual arts in Cienfuegos are represented in different manifestations: painting, crafts, ceramics, photography, among others. Various institutions welcome and promote artistic work in the territory. The Centro de Arte sponsors two creation workshops: the Engraving, "Graphic Society" and the sculpture "La Buena Pipa"; as well as other alternative exhibition spaces. There is a subsidiary of the Cuban Fund of Cultural assets (Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales) and the presence of the Cuban Association of Artisans and Artists (ACAA).

Important events are held every year in Cienfuegos, including the Naif Art Festival, the Feria de la Estampa, and the Salón Provincial 5 de Septiembre where renowned artists from Cuba and the world exhibit their works.
