In the airports there are Exchange Houses (CADECAS) open 24 hours, we suggest
when you arrive in Cuba, change your money to CUP before leaving the airport. |
Always change in CADECA (official exchange houses) or in Banks, avoid changing
with unauthorized persons for these purposes. |
In Cuba you can change the following currencies: Canadian dollar, British pound,
Mexican peso, Swiss franc, Euro, Danish crown, Norwegian crown, Swedish crown,
Japanese yen, Cuban peso and US dollar. |

NEW USD PREPAID CARDS
They are issued by the Banco de Crédito y Comercio (BANDEC).
Exclusive use in the national territory.
Valid for the payment of goods and services in the commercial network of USD.
The cards are printed with the amount of 1000, 500 and 200 USD, as well as the expiration date.
Cash withdrawals can only be made in CUP (Cuban pesos) in the ATM network at the official 24 x 1 exchange rate.
The bank is not responsible for the loss of the card.
The amount is not refundable in foreign currency, the bank is not obliged to return the unused or excess amount.
Doubts, clarification or loss of card, should be communicated to the number 80201996 or by going to any BANDEC branch in the country.

The exchange of freely convertible currencies (foreign exchange) for the Cuban peso (CUP) is carried out respecting the current exchange rate of the different currencies, according to the fluctuation in the world market.
