Society

The mixture of American, European and African cultures that has taken place in Cuba has created Granma, a province that is difficult to describe in just a few words.

With outstanding artists and creative personalities challenging the status and the exportation of the Cuban culture, the Granma society is a natural treasure. One of the greatest successes of Cuba and Granma has been the implementation of a universal health system, which is considered one of the triumphs of the post-revolutionary system.

The infant and maternal mortality rates are considerably lower than in comparable countries and life expectancy is better than in United States. The educational system of Granma is very centralized, with a strong plan of studies of political and ideological indoctrination.
