Varadero, Cuba’s main seaside resort, ranked second on the list of the world’s best beaches, according to the “Traveller's Choice 2019” awards, organized by the largest travel website TripAdvisor.
In the ranking of the best 25 beaches in the world, the Cuban is positioned behind Baia Do Sancho, in Brazil, and is seconded by Eagle Beach, on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
A beach with warm sea despite being winter, beautiful turquoise color, praised a user of TripAdvisor, while distinguishing safety and cleanliness through its long miles of soft sand.

Catamaran rides, sport fishing, scuba diving and excursions also encourage the visitor to Varadero, located 120 kilometers east of Havana, which has a hotel infrastructure of more than 50 facilities.
On Tuesday, the U.S. portal announced the awards, based on the “quantity and quality” of TripAdvisor’s Aryans for 12 months.
For the third consecutive year, TripAdvisor once again selected the Spanish beach of La Concha (San Sebastián, northern Spain) as the best sandy beach in Europe, ranking fourth in the world.

It is followed by the European list Spiaggia dei Conigli, in Sicily (Italy), and the beach Falesia of the Portuguese Algarve, while the beach of Ses Illetes, on the Spanish island of Formentera, in the Mediterranean archipelago of the Balearic Islands, is in fourth position.
TripAdvisor has recognized 352 beaches in total and has drawn up a list of the 25 best in the world, in addition to specific classifications by continents and countries.
