Music, summer and beach come together in an ideal location again: Varadero, main Cuba’s tourist resort. Varadero Josone Festival will be back from August 22nd to 25th, encounter that at its second edition proposes four nights of excellent music at the greatest beach resort on the Island: rumba, jazz and son.
After a first edition, organized by the music industry for this sort of event and the presence of foreign artist such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Álvaro Torres and José Alberto “El Canario” along with other icons of the Cuban Music, Varadero Josone Festival starts engines again by the hands of its creator and honorific president, Issac Delgado, who hopes to materialize this event as one the principal of its kind internationally.
This is an encounter intended for the most demanding dancers where is included the Afro-Cuban and urban music: timba, jazz, son, rumba and salsa; created by local group and artists such as Issac Delgado y su Orquesta, Formell y los Van Van, Adalberto Álvarez y su Son, Francisco (Pacho) Céspedes, Pupyy los que Son Son, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco, Alexander Abreu y Havana D´ Primera, Eme Alfonso, Paulo FG y su Élite, Descemer Bueno, Haila María Mompié, Ivette Cepeda, Buena Fe, Muñequitos de Matanzas, Yoruba Andabo, Alain Pérez y la Orquesta, Jacob Forever y Divan.
From other part of the world will arrive to Varadero Josone …; Eva Ayllón, interpreter nine times nominated to the Latin Grammy and considered an icon of the culture in Peru, as well as Weedie Braimah and The Hands of Time (Ghana), jazz ambassadors, los African rhythms, the funk, called “world music” and hip-hop, and Quintero’s Latin Jazz Project, renown Venezuela group.
Tickets will be sold at Paradiso Cultural Tourist Agencies in Havana and Varadro. Concerts will take place at Josone Park. Furthermore, people that are in Varadero Resort Beach city may buy tickects also at the several centers of the Extra hotel Enterprise Palmares, at the Casa de la Música of EGREM and even at the Josone Park.
